LPW - Elgin, 15J, 0S, 14K multicolor gold original Roy HC with spectacular rear detail of a building and tree below an 8-point star with inset diamond, front with rose gold shield engraved with name and surrounded by multicolor floral detail, scalloped band, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#6876804. Comes as pictured with a 38 inch 14K gold (tested) slide chain. Gross weight of assembled watch 23.8 dwt (37.0 g). Gross weight of 14K gold slide chain 10.9 dwt (17.1 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered micro-fine scratches, foot of balance cock with numerous peck marks, steelwork with oxide; dial with numerous scattered hls and fractures; fair hands, minute with oxide, finish loss and small bends; case shows hardly any wear, small dent adjacent rear hinge, scattered dings to cuvette with one likely being as-made to allow space for diamond culet, superb engraving detail, case front and rear opening a bit wide of 90 degrees (to approximately 100 and 105 degrees, respectively); tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal. Chain with a small puncture to its sliding element as seen in photo, otherwise excellent showing little wear.
